These Terms of Service govern your use of TalentBaseUSA.com and everything we make available through it, including our pages, forms, job listings, program information, and resources. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site. Section 20 explains how we handle changes to these terms.
TalentBase LLC, doing business as TalentBase, is a California limited liability company. We work with employers, government agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations on workforce strategy, ecosystem development, project and program delivery, and employer talent solutions. We also work directly with job seekers, including veterans and their family members, through programs like Veterans CareerBridge. In these terms, “TalentBase,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean TalentBase LLC. “You” means the person or organization using the site.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site, submit a form, apply for a position through us, or take part in a TalentBase program. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has submitted information to us, write to Privacy@TalentBaseUSA.com and we will remove it.
If you are using the site on behalf of a company, agency, or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
The site describes our services, lists open opportunities, explains our programs, and gives you ways to reach us. Submitting a form starts a conversation. It does not create a contract for services, an employment relationship, or a guarantee of any outcome.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, including individual listings, forms, or program pages, without notice.
When you submit a resume, an application, or a form, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that it is yours to share. Submitting false information may result in removal from consideration.
By submitting your information, you authorize us to share it with prospective employers, program partners, and, where a program requires it, the agency funding that program. You can ask us to stop sharing your information at any time by writing to Privacy@TalentBaseUSA.com.
TalentBase does not guarantee an interview, a placement, a job offer, or any particular result. Hiring decisions belong to the employer. We do not control an employer’s selection process, compensation, benefits, working conditions, or continued employment of anyone we refer.
Listings on this site may be posted by employers or supplied by third parties. We make a reasonable effort to keep them current, and we do not warrant that any listing is accurate, available, or still open.
TalentBase never charges job seekers a fee. We will not ask you for payment, banking details, or a Social Security number as a condition of applying through this site. If anyone contacts you claiming to represent TalentBase and asks for money or sensitive financial information, do not respond, and report it to Connect@TalentBaseUSA.com.
If you post a role, request talent, or receive candidate information through us, the following applies to you.
We may decline, edit, or remove any listing or request, at our discretion, and we may end your access to the site if you do not follow this section.
Staffing, recruiting, executive and leadership search, workforce consulting, and project or program delivery engagements are governed by a separate written agreement signed by TalentBase and the client. Fees, guarantees, replacement terms, timelines, and scope come from that agreement.
Nothing on this site is an offer to perform those services, and nothing here changes the terms of a signed agreement. If anything in these terms conflicts with a signed engagement agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
Submitting a mentor interest form expresses interest. It does not create an employment relationship, an independent contractor relationship, or an agency relationship with TalentBase, and mentor participation is unpaid and voluntary.
Gifts made through this site support veteran workforce programs, including Veterans CareerBridge. Donations are processed by a third-party platform. When you give, that platform’s terms and privacy policy apply to the transaction, and it handles your payment information, your receipt, and any refund request.
TalentBase does not provide tax or legal advice. Whether a gift is deductible depends on your circumstances and on the receiving organization’s status. Please consult your own advisor. Any tax receipt or acknowledgment comes from the organization or fiscal sponsor that receives the gift.
Some TalentBase programs are supported by public or philanthropic funding. Eligibility, service levels, geographic scope, and reporting requirements for those programs are set by the funding program, not by TalentBase alone, and they can change when funding changes. Meeting the general description of a program on this site does not guarantee acceptance into it.

When you use this site, you agree not to do any of the following.
You keep ownership of everything you submit, including your resume, your application materials, and anything you write in a form or a message.
You give TalentBase a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, and share what you submit for the purpose of providing our services to you and operating our programs, including sharing it as described in Section 5. This license lasts as long as we retain your information under our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to submit what you send, and that it does not violate anyone else’s rights or contain confidential information belonging to a current or former employer. We may remove any submission at our discretion.
The TalentBase name, the Veterans CareerBridge name, our logos, and the text, graphics, layout, photographs, and other material on this site are owned by TalentBase or by the parties who license it to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may view, download, and print site content for your own personal or internal business use in evaluating our services. Any other use, including reproduction, republication, distribution, or the creation of derivative works, requires our written permission. Nothing on this site grants you a license to use our names or marks.
This site links to sites and services we do not control, including employer websites, partner and funder sites, our social media accounts, our donation platform, and the tools that power our forms and scheduling. We provide those links for convenience. We do not endorse, and we are not responsible for, their content, their practices, or their terms.
When you leave this site, the destination’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act. It is part of these terms. Please read it at TalentBaseUSA.com/privacy-policy.
The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TalentBase disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, or that any listing, program description, or resource is accurate or complete.
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial, or employment advice, and nothing on it is a promise of employment, placement, funding, program acceptance, or any other outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, TalentBase and its members, officers, employees, contractors, and program partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost wages, lost opportunity, or loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the site, whether the claim is based in contract, tort, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised that such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid TalentBase in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the limitations above apply only to the extent the law allows.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TalentBase and its members, officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the site, your submissions, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
If a dispute arises, we want the chance to resolve it directly. Before filing any action, the party raising the dispute will send written notice to the other describing the dispute and the resolution it is seeking. Notice to TalentBase goes to Connect@TalentBaseUSA.com. Both parties will then negotiate in good faith for thirty days.
If the dispute is not resolved within those thirty days, either party may bring an action. Either party may also bring a qualifying claim in small claims court at any time, without first giving notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The exclusive venue for any action is the state or federal courts located in Kern County, California, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Any claim relating to the site or to these terms must be filed within one year after it arises, to the extent that limit is enforceable where you live.
We may update these terms as our services and our legal obligations change. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes take effect thirty days after posting. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.
